WEG Chief Executive Participates in Governor Bush-Led Business Mission to Germany

November 17, 2005 -

Tony Villamil, CEO, gave a presentation to top corporations and executives in Munich, Germany, on "Florida: A growing Business Center of The Americas.”

Mr. Villamil highlighted top investment opportunities available in key sectors of the State, with emphasis on clusters of innovation in the life sciences, digital media, space and others. He also presented the important role of Florida as the center for trade, visitors, and business between the US and Latin America. The mission was organized by Enterprise Florida as part of its "Team Florida" program that aims to attract additional trade and investment to the State. Over 90 Florida companies and executives from Florida participated in the mission that also visited other key cities in Germany and Switzerland.
