Business leaders, Congress look to heal relationship

Villamil, part of the new guard that took over the chamber last year, knew that the communication gap between Miami's most powerful business leaders and their federal representatives could not continue.
''As the chamber evolves with new leadership, it is changing very radically,'' Villamil said.
Their goal: bring more federal money to Miami for transportation projects, airport security and immigration issues.
