Tony Villamil Keynotes Economic Outlook in Lakeland

In the 21 Annual Economic Forecast Breakfast, sponsored by Allen & Company and the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, Dr. J. Antonio “Tony” Villamil CEO of The Washington Economics Group Inc. in Coral Gables, delivered a speech to a sold-out Lakeland Center crowd of 550 on the Florida economy.

Villamil said Polk County should fare well in an uncertain 2008 because of its position on the booming Interstate 4 Corridor, diversified job base and status as a business and transportation hub for Central Florida.
