CEO Receives Presidential Medal from Ana G. Mendez University System of Puerto Rico

At the graduating ceremonies for the Metro Orlando Campus of the Ana G. Mendez University System (AGMUS), President Jose F. Mendez awarded the Presidential Medal to J. Antonio Villamil, CEO of The Washington Economics Group. The award was given to honor Mr. Villamil’s contributions to the expansion of the University System in Florida, and for his policy contributions on economic development issues impacting the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

The Ana G. Mendez University System is the second largest private university system in Puerto Rico, with over 38,000 students. The system includes the Universidad del Turabo, Universidad del Este and Universidad Metropolitana. The University currently has campuses in Orlando and in South Florida.
